We would like to inform you about the third announcement and provide information helpful for those of you who will attend the “11th International Conference on Toxic Cyanobacteria” (Kraków, Poland, from 5 to 10 May 2019). All those interested in ICTC 11 will find detailed information about the conference at http://www.ictc11.org.
Schedule and abstracts:
A provisional schedule of all the sessions and other related events is available at http://ictc11.org/conference-agenda/.
Currently the abstracts submitted as oral or poster presentation are being assessed by the members of the Scientific Committee on the basis of scientific merit and novelty as well as practical application (when relevant). Based on their opinion the Local Organizing Committee will make the final decision on which abstracts are qualified as oral presentations. The final schedule will be available at the end of March. You may request individually for earlier confirmation of abstract acceptance if such information is helpful to obtain funds to cover the conference costs.
We would like to announce a special event – a workshop organized by FluidImaging, which will be held on 5th March, before the Welcome reception (15:00-18:00 pm). The title of this workshop is: Semi-automated method for detecting and counting cells of cyanobacterial colonies and filaments. All of you are invited to join this event.
We would be grateful if you could inform us whether you will attend the welcome reception (Sunday evening). Please tick the appropriate box in the registration system.
Registration and fees:
Registration is still open, however in order to ensure smooth preparation for the conference, the LOC has set the payment deadline for registered participants on 15th March 2019. You are requested to pay by this date as only then will your abstracts be taken into account when the final conference schedule is arranged. In case of later payment, there is no guarantee that you will show your presentation (either oral or poster) at the ICTC 11.
Furthermore, those who declared the participation in the excursion, are asked to make an additional payment (100 PLN) by 15th March 2019.
